Refund policy

  1. No Returns or Refunds on Shipped Hatching Eggs
    Due to the delicate nature of hatching eggs and the variability in shipping conditions, we do not offer returns or refunds for any hatching eggs that have been shipped. We take every precaution to ensure that eggs are packed securely and in optimal condition prior to shipment, but once they leave our farm, we cannot guarantee hatch rates. We test fertility often to ensure that the eggs you are receiving are fertile. Please consider this policy carefully before placing an order.

  2. No Guarantee. We can't promise that all hatching eggs bought and incubated by our customers will successfully hatch. This uncertainty arises because we are unfamiliar with your incubator, its settings, and the potential for power outages. Numerous factors could prevent eggs from hatching, so we are unable to provide a guarantee.

  3. Local Pick-Ups

    1. Local pick up of chicks or hatching eggs is done at the farm. For biosecurity reasons, please do not go through my gate. Remain at the top of the driveway, and I will personally bring your order to your vehicle. This ensures the safety of our farm and animals while providing a convenient pick-up option for our customers.

    2. When you receive notification that your order is ready for pick-up but do not respond or schedule a time, your chicks or hatching eggs will be offered to the next buyer. If this happens again, you will be placed back on the waitlist. However, if it occurs a second time, you will be removed from the waitlist, and a refund will not be provided.

  4. Pre-Orders. When you place a pre-order, you will be added to a waitlist. This means that in February or March, as temperatures start to rise, you will receive a notification via email, messenger, or text informing you that your order will be shipped soon. We permit one delay for your order; if there is a second delay, your order will be canceled and a refund will not be provided. To ensure a smooth process, please keep your contact details up-to-date, and be ready to respond promptly when your notification arrives. We aim to accommodate your schedule as best as we can, but our primary concern is the welfare of the chicks and hatching eggs, which cannot be compromised by prolonged waiting periods. Remember, by committing to a pre-order, you are securing a spot for our high-quality breeds, and we are committed to providing you with a seamless and satisfying experience.   5. Be Prepared

    1. For young chicks, ensure you have a warm brooder prepared with a heat plate. It's important not to delay the setup until they arrive. The brooder should be ready and waiting, as chicks need immediate warmth and care to thrive. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature, ensuring it's around 95°F for the first week, and gradually decrease it by 5°F each week as they grow. Provide clean bedding, such as pine shavings, and ensure they have access to fresh water and chick starter feed. Avoid cedar shavings, as they can be harmful to the chicks. Additionally, make sure the brooder is secure and free from drafts to keep your chicks safe and comfortable. Regularly check their environment and adjust as needed to support their healthy development.

    2. There is a minimum order requirement of three chicks. You can choose different breeds, but you must order at least three.

    1. We accept all forms of payment on our website. Order must be paid in full to receive your order

    2. Our pricing reflects the hard work and dedication that goes into raising the breeds you purchase. We are not a hatchery and do not operate with hatchery pricing. Instead, our emphasis is on quality and care, ensuring that each chick and hatching egg receives the attention it deserves. Our thoughtfully selected breeds showcase our commitment to preserving rare and unique lines that may not be found at larger commercial hatcheries.
